M / Deuteronomy 7.12 : And it shall come to pass, because ye hearken to these ordinances, and keep and do them, that Jehovah thy God will keep with thee the covenant and the lovingkindness which he sware unto thy fathers[H1]:

M / Joshua 24.15 : And if it seem evil unto you to serve Jehovah, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers[H1] served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.
M / Joshua 24.17 : for Jehovah our God, he it is that brought us and our fathers[H1] up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and that did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the peoples through the midst of whom we passed;

M / Judges 2.17 : And yet they hearkened not unto their judges; for they played the harlot after other gods, and bowed themselves down unto them: they turned aside quickly out of the way wherein their fathers[H1] walked, obeying the commandments of Jehovah; but they did not so.
M / Judges 2.19 : But it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they turned back, and dealt more corruptly than their fathers[H1], in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their doings, nor from their stubborn way.
M / Judges 2.20 : And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel; and he said, Because this nation have transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers[H1], and have not hearkened unto my voice;
M / Judges 2.22 : that by them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of Jehovah to walk therein[H1], as their fathers did keep it, or not.
M / Judges 3.4 : And they were left, to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of Jehovah, which he commanded their fathers[H1] by Moses.
M / Judges 6.13 : And Gideon said unto him, Oh, my lord, if Jehovah is with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where are all his wondrous works which our fathers[H1] told us of, saying, Did not Jehovah bring us up from Egypt? but now Jehovah hath cast us off, and delivered us into the hand of Midian.

M / Judges 9.28 : And Gaal the son of Ebed said, Who is Abimelech, and who is Shechem, that we should serve him? is not he the son of Jerubbaal? and Zebul his officer? serve ye the men of Hamor the father[H1] of Shechem: but why should we serve him?
M / Judges 9.56 : Thus God requited the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father[H1], in slaying his seventy brethren;

M / Judges 14.3 : Then his father[H1] and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father[H1], Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.
M / Judges 14.4 : But his father[H1] and his mother knew not that it was of Jehovah; for he sought an occasion against the Philistines. Now at that time the Philistines had rule over Israel.
M / Judges 14.5 : Then went Samson down, and his father[H1] and his mother, to Timnah, and came to the vineyards of Timnah: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.
M / Judges 14.6 : And the Spirit of Jehovah came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid; and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father[H1] or his mother what he had done.
M / Judges 14.9 : And he took it into his hands, and went on, eating as he went; and he came to his father[H1] and mother, and gave unto them, and they did eat: but he told them not that he had taken the honey out of the body of the lion.
M / Judges 14.10 : And his father[H1] went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do.
M / Judges 14.15 : And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson's wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father[H1]'s house with fire: have ye called us to impoverish us? is it not so?
M / Judges 14.16 : And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father[H1] nor my mother, and shall I tell thee?

M / Judges 19.8 : And he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart; and the damsel's father[H1] said, Strengthen thy heart, I pray thee, and tarry ye until the day declineth; and they did eat, both of them.
M / Judges 19.9 : And when the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father-in-law, the damsel's father[H1], said unto him, Behold, now the day draweth toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day groweth to an end, lodge here, that thy heart may be merry; and to-morrow get you early on your way, that thou mayest go home.

M / 1 Samuel 20.13 : Jehovah do so to Jonathan, and more also, should it please my father[H1] to do thee evil, if I disclose it not unto thee, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace: and Jehovah be with thee[H1], as he hath been with my father.
M / 1 Samuel 20.32 : And Jonathan answered Saul his father[H1], and said unto him, Wherefore should he be put to death? what hath he done?
M / 1 Samuel 20.33 : And Saul cast his spear at him to smite him; whereby Jonathan knew that it was determined of his father[H1] to put David to death.
