M / Daniel 4.23 : And whereas[H1768] the king saw a watcher and a holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of[H1768] iron and brass, in the tender grass of[H1768] the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till [H1768] seven times pass over him;
M / Daniel 4.24 : This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which[H1768] is come upon my lord the king:
M / Daniel 4.25 : That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till [H1768] thou know that[H1768] the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever [H1768] he will.
M / Daniel 4.26 : And whereas[H1768] they commanded to leave the stump of[H1768] the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that [H1768] thou shalt have known that[H1768] the heavens do rule.
M / Daniel 4.29 : At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of[H1768] Babylon.
M / Daniel 4.30 : The king spoke, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that[H1768] I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty?
M / Daniel 4.32 : And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until [H1768] thou know that[H1768] the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever [H1768] he will.
M / Daniel 4.33 : The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till [H1768] his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.
M / Daniel 4.34 : And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honored him that liveth forever, whose[H1768] dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
M / Daniel 4.37 : Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose[H1768] works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those[H1768] that walk in pride he is able to abase.
M / Daniel 5.2 : Belshazzar, while he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which[H1768] his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which[H1768] was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein.
M / Daniel 5.3 : Then they brought the golden vessels that[H1768] were taken out of the temple of[H1768] the house of God which[H1768] was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them.
M / Daniel 5.5 : In the same hour came forth fingers of[H1768] a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaster of[H1768] the wall of[H1768] the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that[H1768] wrote.
M / Daniel 5.7 : The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. And the king spoke, and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever [H1768] shall read this writing, and show me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of[H1768] gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
M / Daniel 5.11 : There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom[H1768] is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;
M / Daniel 5.12 : Forasmuch as [H1768] an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and showing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom[H1768] the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.
M / Daniel 5.13 : Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spoke and said unto Daniel, Art thou that Daniel, which[H1768] art of the children of the captivity of[H1768] Judah, whom[H1768] the king my father brought out of Jewry?
M / Daniel 5.14 : I have even heard of thee, that[H1768] the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.
M / Daniel 5.15 : And now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that[H1768] they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not show the interpretation of the thing:
M / Daniel 5.16 : And I have heard of thee, that[H1768] thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of[H1768] gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
M / Daniel 5.19 : And for the majesty that[H1768] he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom[H1768] he would he slew; and whom[H1768] he would he kept alive; and whom[H1768] he would he set up; and whom[H1768] he would he put down.
M / Daniel 5.20 : But when[H1768] his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
M / Daniel 5.21 : And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till [H1768] he knew that[H1768] the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever [H1768] he will.
M / Daniel 5.22 : And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though [H1768] thou knewest all this;
M / Daniel 5.23 : But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of[H1768] his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which[H1768] see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose[H1768] hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:
M / Daniel 5.24 : Then was the part of[H1768] the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.
M / Daniel 5.25 : And this is the writing that[H1768] was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
M / Daniel 5.29 : Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of[H1768] gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that[H1768] he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
M / Daniel 6.1 : It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom a hundred and twenty princes, which[H1768] should be over the whole kingdom;
M / Daniel 6.2 : And over these three presidents; of whom [H1768] Daniel was first: that[H1768] the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
M / Daniel 6.3 : Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because [H1768] an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
M / Daniel 6.4 : Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as [H1768] he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
M / Daniel 6.7 : All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counselors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that[H1768] whosoever [H1768] shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.
M / Daniel 6.8 : Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that[H1768] it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which[H1768] altereth not.
M / Daniel 6.10 : Now when[H1768] Daniel knew that[H1768] the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as [H1768] he did formerly.
M / Daniel 6.12 : Then they came near, and spoke before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that[H1768] every man that[H1768] shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which[H1768] altereth not.
M / Daniel 6.13 : Then answered they and said before the king, That[H1768] Daniel, which[H1768] is of the children of the captivity of[H1768] Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that[H1768] thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.
M / Daniel 6.14 : Then the king, when[H1768] he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he labored till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
M / Daniel 6.15 : Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that[H1768] the law of the Medes and Persians is, That[H1768] no decree nor statute which[H1768] the king establisheth may be changed.
M / Daniel 6.16 : Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of[H1768] lions. Now the king spoke and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom[H1768] thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
M / Daniel 6.17 : And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that[H1768] the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
M / Daniel 6.19 : Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of[H1768] lions.
M / Daniel 6.20 : And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spoke and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom[H1768] thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?
M / Daniel 6.22 : My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as [H1768] before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
M / Daniel 6.23 : Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because[H1768] he believed in his God.
M / Daniel 6.24 : And the king commanded, and they brought those men which[H1768] had accused Daniel,[H1768] and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and broke all their bones in pieces or ever they came [H1768] at the bottom of the den.
M / Daniel 6.25 : Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that[H1768] dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
M / Daniel 6.26 : I make a decree, That[H1768] in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of[H1768] Daniel: for[H1768] he is the living God, and steadfast forever, and his kingdom that which[H1768] shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
M / Daniel 6.27 : He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who[H1768] hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
M / Daniel 7.4 : The first was like a lion, and had eagle's[H1768] wings: I beheld till [H1768] the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.
M / Daniel 7.6 : After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of[H1768] a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
M / Daniel 7.7 : After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron[H1768] teeth: it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that[H1768] were before it; and it had ten horns.
M / Daniel 7.9 : I beheld till [H1768] the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery[H1768] flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
M / Daniel 7.10 : A fiery[H1768] stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
M / Daniel 7.11 : I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which[H1768] the horn spoke: I beheld even till [H1768] the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
M / Daniel 7.14 : And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which[H1768] shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which[H1768] shall not be destroyed.
M / Daniel 7.17 : These great beasts, which[H1768] are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
M / Daniel 7.19 : Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which[H1768] was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of[H1768] iron, and his nails of[H1768] brass; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
M / Daniel 7.20 : And of the ten horns that[H1768] were in his head, and of the other which[H1768] came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
M / Daniel 7.22 : Until [H1768] the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
M / Daniel 7.23 : Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which[H1768] shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
M / Daniel 7.27 : And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of[H1768] the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
M / Daniel 7.28 : Hitherto is the end of[H1768] the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
