24. Da hieß er die Männer, so Daniel verklagt hatten, herbringen und zu den Löwen in den Graben werfen samt ihren Weibern und Kindern. Und ehe sie auf den Boden hinabkamen, ergriffen sie die Löwen und zermalmten alle ihre Gebeine.
24. (H6-25) Da ließ der König jene Männer herbeiholen, welche Daniel verklagt hatten. Die wurden samt ihren Söhnen und Weibern in den Löwenzwinger geworfen; und ehe sie noch den Boden des Zwingers berührten, bemächtigten sich ihrer die Löwen und zermalmten ihnen alle Gebeine.

24. Le roi fut alors tout heureux et ordonna de faire sortir Daniel de la fosse. Daniel fut retiré de la fosse. On ne trouva aucune blessure sur lui, parce qu'il avait eu confiance en son Dieu.
