M / Jeremiah 40.1 : The word which came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, after that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all the captives of Jerusalem and Judah, that were carried away captive unto Babylon[H894].

If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon[H894], come, and I will look well unto thee; but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon[H894], forbear: behold, all the land is before thee; whither it seemeth good and right unto thee to go, thither go.

So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a present, and let him go.

M / Jeremiah 50.18 : Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon[H894] and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.

M / Jeremiah 50.28 : The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon[H894], to declare in Zion the vengeance of Jehovah our God, the vengeance of his temple.
M / Jeremiah 50.29 : Call together the archers against Babylon[H894], all them that bend the bow; encamp against her round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her; for she hath been proud against Jehovah, against the Holy One of Israel.
M / Jeremiah 50.34 : Their Redeemer is strong; Jehovah of hosts is his name: he will thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon[H894].
M / Jeremiah 50.35 : A sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith Jehovah, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon[H894], and upon her princes, and upon her wise men.
M / Jeremiah 50.42 : They lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, every one set in array, as a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon[H894].
M / Jeremiah 50.43 : The king of Babylon[H894] hath heard the tidings of them, and his hands wax feeble: anguish hath taken hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail.
M / Jeremiah 50.45 : Therefore hear ye the counsel of Jehovah, that he hath taken against Babylon[H894]; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely they shall drag them away, even the little ones of the flock; surely he shall make their habitation desolate over them.
M / Jeremiah 50.46 : At the noise of the taking of Babylon[H894] the earth trembleth, and the cry is heard among the nations.
M / Jeremiah 51.1 : Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will raise up against Babylon[H894], and against them that dwell in Leb - kamai, a destroying wind.
M / Jeremiah 51.2 : And I will send unto Babylon[H894] strangers, that shall winnow her; and they shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

M / Jeremiah 51.7 : Babylon[H894] hath been a golden cup in Jehovah's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.
M / Jeremiah 51.8 : Babylon[H894] is suddenly fallen and destroyed: wail for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
M / Jeremiah 51.9 : We would have healed Babylon[H894], but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country; for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.
M / Jeremiah 51.11 : Make sharp the arrows; hold firm the shields: Jehovah hath stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes; because his purpose is against Babylon[H894], to destroy it: for it is the vengeance of Jehovah, the vengeance of his temple.
M / Jeremiah 51.12 : Set up a standard against the walls of Babylon[H894], make the watch strong, set the watchmen, prepare the ambushes; for Jehovah hath both purposed and done that which he spake concerning the inhabitants of Babylon[H894].
M / Jeremiah 51.24 : And I will render unto Babylon[H894] and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith Jehovah.
M / Jeremiah 51.29 : And the land trembleth and is in pain; for the purposes of Jehovah against Babylon[H894] do stand, to make the land of Babylon[H894] a desolation, without inhabitant.
M / Jeremiah 51.30 : The mighty men of Babylon[H894] have forborne to fight, they remain in their strongholds; their might hath failed; they are become as women: her dwelling-places are set on fire; her bars are broken.
M / Jeremiah 51.31 : One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon[H894] that his city is taken on every quarter:
M / Jeremiah 51.33 : For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon[H894] is like a threshing-floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while, and the time of harvest shall come for her.
M / Jeremiah 51.34 : Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon[H894] hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath, like a monster, swallowed me up, he hath filled his maw with my delicacies; he hath cast me out.
M / Jeremiah 51.35 : The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon[H894], shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and, My blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.
M / Jeremiah 51.37 : And Babylon[H894] shall become heaps, a dwelling-place for jackals, an astonishment, and a hissing, without inhabitant.
M / Jeremiah 51.41 : How is Sheshach taken! and the praise of the whole earth seized! how is Babylon[H894] become a desolation among the nations!
M / Jeremiah 51.42 : The sea is come up upon Babylon[H894]; she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.
M / Jeremiah 51.44 : And I will execute judgment upon Bel in Babylon[H894], and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up; and the nations shall not flow any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon[H894] shall fall.
M / Jeremiah 51.47 : Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will execute judgment upon the graven images of Babylon[H894]; and her whole land shall be confounded; and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.
M / Jeremiah 51.48 : Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for joy over Babylon[H894]; for the destroyers shall come unto her from the north, saith Jehovah.

M / Jeremiah 51.55 : For Jehovah layeth Babylon[H894] waste, and destroyeth out of her the great voice; and their waves roar like many waters; the noise of their voice is uttered:
M / Jeremiah 51.56 : for the destroyer is come upon her[H894], even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, their bows are broken in pieces; for Jehovah is a God of recompenses, he will surely requite.
M / Jeremiah 51.58 : Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: The broad walls of Babylon[H894] shall be utterly overthrown, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the peoples shall labor for vanity, and the nations for the fire; and they shall be weary.
M / Jeremiah 51.59 : The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon[H894] in the fourth year of his reign. Now Seraiah was chief chamberlain.

M / Jeremiah 52.17 : And the pillars of brass that were in the house of Jehovah, and the bases and the brazen sea that were in the house of Jehovah, did the Chaldeans break in pieces, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon[H894].
M / Jeremiah 52.26 : And Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon[H894] to Riblah.
M / Jeremiah 52.27 : And the king of Babylon[H894] smote them, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land.
M / Jeremiah 52.31 : And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon[H894], in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison;
