33. And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.

35. The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
36. The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

38. And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39. And the sons of Lothan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.
40. The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.
41. The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

43. Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44. And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45. And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46. And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
47. And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48. And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
49. And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50. And when Baal-hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51. Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,
52. Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53. Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54. Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.

12. les Patrusim, les Casluhim, dont sont issus les Philistins, et les Caphtorim.
13. Canaan eut pour descendants Sidon, son fils aîné, et Heth,
14. ainsi que les Jébusiens, les Amoréens, les Guirgasiens,
15. les Héviens, les Arkiens, les Siniens,
16. les Arvadiens, les Tsemariens et les Hamathiens.
17. Fils de Sem: Elam, Assur, Arpacshad, Lud et Aram. [Fils d'Aram:] Uts, Hul, Guéter et Méshec.
18. Arpacshad eut pour fils Shélach, et Shélach eut Héber.
19. Héber eut deux fils. Le nom de l'un était Péleg, parce qu'à son époque la terre fut partagée, et celui de son frère était Jokthan.
20. Jokthan eut pour fils Almodad, Shéleph, Hatsarmaveth, Jérach,
21. Hadoram, Uzal, Dikla,
22. Ebal, Abimaël, Séba, Ophir, Havila et Jobab.
23. Tous ceux-là furent les fils de Jokthan.
24. Il y eut Sem, Arpacshad, Shélach,
25. Héber, Péleg, Rehu,
26. Serug, Nachor, Térach
27. et Abram, c'est-à-dire Abraham.
28. Fils d'Abraham: Isaac et Ismaël.
29. Voici leur lignée: Nebajoth, le fils aîné d'Ismaël, Kédar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
30. Mishma, Duma, Massa, Hadad, Téma,
31. Jethur, Naphish et Kedma. Ce sont là les fils d'Ismaël.
32. Fils de Ketura, la concubine d'Abraham: elle mit au monde Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Madian, Jishbak et Shuach. Fils de Jokshan: Séba et Dedan.
33. Fils de Madian: Epha, Epher, Hénoc, Abida et Eldaa. Tous ceux-là sont les descendants de Ketura.
34. Abraham eut pour fils Isaac. Fils d'Isaac: Esaü et Israël.

41. Fils d'Ana: Dishon. Fils de Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Jithran et Keran.
42. Fils d'Etser: Bilhan, Zaavan et Akan. Fils de Dishan: Uts et Aran.
43. Voici les rois qui ont régné dans le pays d'Edom avant que les Israélites n'aient un roi. Il y eut Béla, fils de Beor; le nom de sa ville était Dinhaba.
44. Béla mourut et Jobab, fils de Zérach, de Botsra, devint roi à sa place.
45. Jobab mourut et Husham, du pays des Thémanites, devint roi à sa place.
46. Husham mourut et Hadad, fils de Bedad, devint roi à sa place. C'est lui qui battit les Madianites dans la campagne de Moab. Le nom de sa ville était Avith.
47. Hadad mourut et Samla, de Masréka, devint roi à sa place.
48. Samla mourut et Saül, de Rehoboth-Nahar, devint roi à sa place.
49. Saül mourut et Baal-Hanan, fils d'Acbor, devint roi à sa place.
50. Baal-Hanan mourut et Hadad devint roi à sa place. Le nom de sa ville était Pahi et sa femme s'appelait Mehéthabeel; elle était la fille de Mathred et la petite-fille de Mézahab.
51. Hadad mourut. Les chefs d'Edom furent alors Thimna, Alva, Jetheth,
52. Oholibama, Ela, Pinon,
53. Kenaz, Théman, Mibtsar,
54. Magdiel et Iram. Voilà quels sont les chefs d'Edom.
