KJV : Psalms 91

Versets:

1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Versets:

1. Celui qui se tient dans la demeure du Souverain, se loge à l'ombre du Tout-Puissant.

2. Je dirai à l'Eternel : Tu es ma retraite, et ma forteresse, tu es mon Dieu en qui je m'assure.

3. Certes il te délivrera du filet du chasseur; [et] de la mortalité malheureuse.

4. Il te couvrira de ses plumes, et tu auras retraite sous ses ailes; sa vérité [te servira de] rondache et de bouclier.

5. Tu n'auras point peur de ce qui épouvante de nuit, ni de la flèche qui vole de jour.

6. Ni de la mortalité qui marche dans les ténèbres; ni de la destruction qui fait le dégât en plein midi.

7. Il en tombera mille à ton côté, et dix mille à ta droite; mais la [destruction] n'approchera point de toi.

8. Seulement tu contempleras de tes yeux, et tu verras la récompense des méchants.

9. Car tu es ma retraite, ô Eternel! tu as établi le Souverain pour ton domicile.

10. Aucun mal ne te rencontrera, et aucune plaie n'approchera de ta tente.

11. Car il donnera charge de toi à ses Anges, afin qu'ils te gardent en toutes tes voies.

12. Ils te porteront dans leurs mains, de peur que ton pied ne heurte contre la pierre.

13. Tu marcheras sur le lion et sur l'aspic, [et] tu fouleras le lionceau et le dragon.

14. Puisqu'il m'aime avec affection, [dit le Seigneur], je le délivrerai; je le mettrai en une haute retraite, parce qu'il connaît mon Nom.

15. Il m'invoquera, et je l'exaucerai; je serai avec lui dans la détresse, je l'en retirerai, et le glorifierai.

16. Je le rassasierai de jours, et je lui ferai voir ma délivrance.
