1. The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

2. Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

3. The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

4. The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

5. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

1. L'Eternel règne, il est revêtu de majesté. L'Eternel a la force en guise de vêtement, en guise de ceinture. Aussi, le monde est ferme, il n'est pas ébranlé.

2. Ton trône est établi depuis longtemps, tu existes de toute éternité.

3. Les fleuves font entendre, Eternel, les fleuves font entendre leur voix, les fleuves font entendre le grondement de leurs flots.

4. Plus encore que la voix des grandes eaux, des flots puissants de la mer, l'Eternel est puissant dans les lieux célestes.

5. Tes instructions sont entièrement vraies; la sainteté convient à ta maison, Eternel, jusqu'à la fin du monde.
