1. The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

2. Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

3. The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

4. The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

5. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

1. L'Éternel règne, il s'est revêtu de majesté; l'Éternel s'est revêtu, il s'est ceint de force: aussi le monde est affermi, il ne sera pas ébranlé.

2. Ton trône est établi dès longtemps; tu es dès l'éternité.

3. Les fleuves ont élevé, ô Éternel! les fleuves ont élevé leur voix, les fleuves ont élevé leurs flots mugissants.

4. L'Éternel, dans les lieux hauts, est plus puissant que la voix des grosses eaux que les puissantes vagues de la mer.

5. Tes témoignages sont très-sûrs. La sainteté sied à ta maison, ô Éternel! pour de longs jours.
