1. The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

2. The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

3. Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

4. The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5. Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

6. Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

7. He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

8. Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

9. Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

1. L'Eternel règne, que les peuples tremblent; il est assis entre les Chérubins, que la terre soit ébranlée.

2. L'Eternel est grand en Sion, et il est élevé par-dessus tous les peuples.

3. Ils célébreront ton Nom, grand et terrible; car il est saint;

4. Et la force du Roi, [car] il aime la justice; tu as ordonné l'équité, tu as prononcé des jugements justes en Jacob.

5. Exaltez l'Eternel notre Dieu, et prosternez-vous devant son marchepied; il est saint.

6. Moïse et Aaron ont été entre ses Sacrificateurs; et Samuel entre ceux qui invoquaient son Nom; ils invoquaient l'Eternel, et il leur répondait.

7. Il parlait à eux de la colonne de nuée ; ils ont gardé ses témoignages et l'ordonnance qu'il leur avait donnée.

8. Ô Eternel mon Dieu! tu les as exaucés, tu leur as été un [Dieu] Fort, leur pardonnant, et faisant vengeance de leurs actes.

9. Exaltez l'Eternel notre Dieu, et prosternez-vous en la montagne de sa Sainteté, car l'Eternel, notre Dieu est saint.
