1. And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
3. And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
4. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8. And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
10. And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11. And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
12. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
1. Und ich hörte eine laute Stimme aus dem Tempel, die sprach zu den sieben Engeln: Gehet hin und gießet die sieben Schalen des Zornes Gottes aus auf die Erde!
2. Und der erste ging hin und goß seine Schale aus auf die Erde; da entstand ein böses und schmerzhaftes Geschwür an den Menschen, die das Malzeichen des Tieres hatten und die sein Bild anbeteten.
3. Und der zweite goß seine Schale aus in das Meer, und es wurde zu Blut wie von einem Toten, und alle lebendigen Wesen im Meer starben.
4. Und der dritte goß seine Schale aus in die Flüsse und in die Wasserquellen, und sie wurden zu Blut.
5. Und ich hörte den Engel der Gewässer sagen: Gerecht bist du, Herr, der du bist und der du warst, du Heiliger, daß du so gerichtet hast!
6. Denn das Blut der Heiligen und Propheten haben sie vergossen, und Blut hast du ihnen zu trinken gegeben; sie verdienen es!
7. Und ich hörte vom Altar her sagen: Ja, Herr, allmächtiger Gott, wahrhaft und gerecht sind deine Gerichte!
8. Und der vierte goß seine Schale aus auf die Sonne; und ihr wurde gegeben, die Menschen zu versengen mit Feuerglut.
9. Und die Menschen wurden versengt von großer Hitze, und sie lästerten den Namen Gottes, der Macht hat über diese Plagen, und taten nicht Buße, ihm die Ehre zu geben.
10. Und der fünfte goß seine Schale aus auf den Thron des Tieres, und dessen Reich wurde verfinstert, und sie zerbissen ihre Zungen vor Schmerz
11. und lästerten den Gott des Himmels wegen ihrer Schmerzen und wegen ihrer Geschwüre und taten nicht Buße von ihren Werken.
12. Und der sechste goß seine Schale aus auf den großen Strom Euphrat; und sein Wasser vertrocknete, damit den Königen vom Aufgang der Sonne der Weg bereitet würde.
13. Und ich sah aus dem Maul des Drachen und aus dem Maul des Tieres und aus dem Maul des falschen Propheten drei unreine Geister herauskommen, gleich Fröschen.
14. Es sind nämlich Geister von Dämonen, welche Zeichen tun und zu den Königen des ganzen Erdkreises ausziehen, um sie zum Kampf an jenem großen Tage Gottes, des Allmächtigen, zu versammeln.
15. Siehe, ich komme wie ein Dieb! Selig ist, wer wacht und seine Kleider bewahrt, damit er nicht bloß einhergehe und man nicht seine Schande sehe!
16. Und er versammelte sie an den Ort, der auf hebräisch Harmagedon heißt.
17. Und der siebente goß seine Schale aus in die Luft; da kam eine laute Stimme aus dem Tempel des Himmels, vom Throne her, die sprach: Es ist geschehen!
18. Und es entstanden Blitze und Stimmen und Donner, und ein großes Erdbeben entstand, wie dergleichen noch nie gewesen ist, seit es Menschen gab auf Erden, ein solches Erdbeben, so groß.
19. Und die große Stadt wurde in drei Teile zerrissen , und die Städte der Heiden fielen, und Babylon, der Großen, wurde vor Gott gedacht, ihr den Becher des Glutweines seines Zornes zu geben.
20. Und alle Inseln flohen, und Berge wurden nicht mehr gefunden.
21. Und ein großer, zentnerschwerer Hagel kam vom Himmel auf die Menschen herab, und die Menschen lästerten Gott wegen der Plage des Hagels, weil seine Plage sehr groß war.
