14. And[G1161] they[G3588] said,[G2036] Some[G3588] say[G3303] that thou art John[G2491] the[G3588] Baptist:[G910] [G1161] some,[G243] Elijah;[G2243] and[G1161] others,[G2087] Jeremiah,[G2408] or[G2228] one[G1520] of the[G3588] prophets.[G4396]

15. He saith[G3004] unto them,[G846] But[G1161] whom[G5101] say[G3004] ye[G5210] that I[G3165] am?[G1511]

16. And[G1161] Simon[G4613] Peter[G4074] answered[G611] and said,[G2036] Thou[G4771] art[G1488] the[G3588] Christ,[G5547] the[G3588] Son[G5207] of the living[G2198] God.[G2316]

And[G2532] Jesus[G2424] answered[G611] and said[G2036] unto him,[G846] Blessed[G3107] art[G1488] thou, Simon[G4613] Bar-jona: [G920] for[G3754] flesh[G4561] and[G2532] blood[G129] hath not[G3756] revealed[G601] it unto thee,[G4671] but[G235] my[G3450] Father[G3962] which[G3588] is in[G1722] heaven.[G3772]

20. Then[G5119] charged[G1291] he his[G848] disciples[G3101] that[G2443] they should tell[G2036] no man[G3367] that[G3752] he[G846] was[G2076] Jesus[G2424] the[G3588] Christ.[G5547]

But[G1161] he[G3588] turned,[G4762] and said[G2036] unto Peter,[G4074] Get[G5217] thee behind[G3694] me,[G3450] Satan: [G4567] thou art[G1488] an offense[G4625] unto me: [G3450] for[G3754] thou savorest[G5426] not[G3756] the things[G3588] that be of God,[G2316] but[G235] those[G3588] that be of men.[G444]

26. For[G1063] what[G5101] is a man[G444] profited,[G5623] if[G1437] he shall gain[G2770] the[G3588] whole[G3650] world,[G2889] and[G2532] lose[G2210] his own[G848] soul?[G5590] or[G2228] what[G5101] shall a man[G444] give[G1325] in exchange[G465] for his[G848] soul?[G5590]

27. For[G1063] the[G3588] Son[G5207] of man[G444] shall[G3195] come[G2064] in[G1722] the[G3588] glory[G1391] of his[G848] Father[G3962] with[G3326] his[G848] angels;[G32] and[G2532] then[G5119] he shall reward[G591] every man[G1538] according[G2596] to his[G848] works.[G4234]

28. Verily[G281] I say[G3004] unto you,[G5213] There be[G1526] some[G5100] standing[G2476] here,[G5602] which[G3748] shall not[G3361] taste[G1089] of death,[G2288] till[G2193] [G302] they see[G1492] the[G3588] Son[G5207] of man[G444] coming[G2064] in[G1722] his[G848] kingdom.[G932]
