Podcast summary and references

This Podcast is a chapter by chapter , verse by verse reading of the3rd part of the King james Version Bible old testament from the Ecclesiastes until the book of Malachi. If roughly 5 chapters per day are listened to per day the entire Bible can be listened to in roughly 1 year.

The King James Version is available online. Please visit the KJV Index which indexes all books of the Bible. Numerous other translations of the bible are available online. Our website currently has the King James Version, the Darby Bible, the well known American Standard Version Bible and the simplified Basic English Version.

Due to the length of the Old Testament (39 books), it has been split into 3 parts for the purposes of Podcasting.

Part I: 1. Genesis to 18. Job

Part II: 19. Psalms and 20. Proverbs

Part III: 21. Ecclesiastes to 39. Malachi

Although the split may seem a bit strange, the book of Psalms is the longest book in the bible. Additionally, Psalms and Proverbs can be read/listened to separately and are often included as a supplement to New Testament editions of the bible, which do not include the remainder of the old testament.
