Podcast : Psalm of the day / Proverb of the day
This Podcast is a chapter by chapter , verse by verse reading of the Psalms and Proverbs of the King james Version Bible. If roughly 5 chapters per day are listened to per day the entire Bible can be listened to in roughly 1 year.
The King James Version is available online. Please visit the KJV Index which indexes all books of the Bible. This Podcast covers the Psalms and Revelation. Numerous other translations of the bible are available online. Our website currently has the King James Version, the Darby Bible, the well known American Standard Version Bible and the simplified Basic English Version.
Due to the length of the Old Testament (39 books), it has been split into 3 parts for the purposes of Podcasting.
Although the split may seem a bit strange, the book of Psalms is the longest book in the bible. Additionally, Psalms and Proverbs can be read/listened to separately and are often included as a supplement to New Testament editions of the bible, which do not include the remainder of the old testament.
