ASV_Strong : Jeremiah 30

verses:

1. The word[H1697] that came to Jeremiah[H3414] from Jehovah[H3068], saying[H559],

2. Thus speaketh[H559] Jehovah[H3068], the God[H430] of Israel[H3478], saying[H559], Write[H3789] thee all the words[H1697] that I have spoken[H1696] unto thee in a book[H5612].

3. For[H3117], lo, the days come[H935], saith[H5002] Jehovah[H3068], that I will turn again[H7725] the captivity[H7622] of my people[H5971] Israel[H3478] and Judah[H3063], saith[H559] Jehovah[H3068]; and I will cause them to return[H7725] to the land[H776] that I gave[H5414] to their fathers[H1], and they shall possess it[H3423].

4. And these are the words[H1697] that Jehovah[H3068] spake[H1696] concerning Israel[H3478] and concerning Judah[H3063].

5. For thus saith[H559] Jehovah[H3068]: We have heard[H8085] a voice[H6963] of trembling[H2731], of fear[H6343], and not of peace[H7965].

6. Ask[H7592] ye now[H7200], and see whether a man[H2145] doth travail with child[H3205]: wherefore do I see[H7200] every man[H1397] with his hands[H3027] on his loins[H2504], as a woman in travail[H3205], and all faces[H6440] are turned[H2015] into paleness[H3420]?

7. Alas[H1945]! for that day[H3117] is great[H1419], so that[H369] none is like it[H6256]: it is even the time of Jacob[H3290]'s trouble[H6869]; but he shall be saved out of it[H3467].

8. And it shall come to pass in that day[H3117], saith[H5002] Jehovah[H3068] of hosts[H6635], that I will break[H7665] his yoke[H5923] from off thy neck[H6677], and will burst[H5423] thy bonds[H4147]; and strangers[H2114] shall no more make him their bondman[H5647];

9. but they shall serve[H5647] Jehovah[H3068] their God[H430], and David[H1732] their king[H4428], whom I will raise up unto them[H6965].

10. Therefore fear[H3372] thou not[H3290], O Jacob my servant[H5650], saith[H5002] Jehovah[H3068]; neither be dismayed[H2865], O Israel[H3478]: for[H3467], lo, I will save thee from afar[H7350], and thy seed[H2233] from the land[H776] of their captivity[H7628]; and Jacob[H3290] shall return[H7725], and shall be quiet[H8252] and at ease[H7599], and none shall make him afraid[H2729].

11. For I am with thee[H5002], saith Jehovah[H3068], to save[H3467] thee[H6213]: for I will make a full end[H3617] of all the nations[H1471] whither I have scattered[H6327] thee[H6213], but I will not make a full end[H3617] of thee[H3256]; but I will correct thee in measure[H4941], and will in no wise leave[H5352] thee unpunished[H5352].

12. For thus saith[H559] Jehovah[H3068], Thy hurt[H7667] is incurable[H605], and thy wound[H4347] grievous[H2470].

13. There is none to plead[H1777] thy cause[H1779], that thou mayest be bound up[H4205]: thou hast no healing[H8585] medicines[H7499].

14. All thy lovers[H157] have forgotten[H7911] thee[H1875]; they seek thee not[H5221]: for I have wounded thee with the wound[H4347] of an enemy[H341], with the chastisement[H4148] of a cruel one[H394], for the greatness[H7230] of thine iniquity[H5771], because thy sins[H2403] were increased[H6105].

15. Why criest[H2199] thou for thy hurt[H7667]? thy pain[H4341] is incurable[H605]: for the greatness[H7230] of thine iniquity[H5771], because thy sins[H2403] were increased[H6105], I have done these things unto thee[H6213].

16. Therefore all they that devour[H398] thee shall be devoured[H398]; and all thine adversaries[H6862], every one of them[H3212], shall go into captivity[H7628]; and they that despoil[H7601] thee shall be a spoil[H4933], and all that prey[H962] upon thee will I give[H5414] for a prey[H957].

17. For I will restore[H5927] health[H724] unto thee[H7495], and I will heal thee of thy wounds[H4347], saith[H5002] Jehovah[H3068]; because they have called[H7121] thee an outcast[H5080], saying[H6726], It is Zion, whom no man seeketh after[H1875].

18. Thus saith[H559] Jehovah[H3068]: Behold[H7725], I will turn again the captivity[H7622] of Jacob[H3290]'s tents[H168], and have compassion[H7355] on his dwelling-places[H4908]; and the city[H5892] shall be builded[H1129] upon its own hill[H8510], and the palace[H759] shall be inhabited[H3427] after its own manner[H4941].

19. And out of them shall proceed[H3318] thanksgiving[H8426] and the voice[H6963] of them that make merry[H7832]: and I will multiply[H7235] them[H4591], and they shall not be few; I will also glorify[H3513] them[H6819], and they shall not be small.

20. Their children[H1121] also shall be as aforetime[H6924], and their congregation[H5712] shall be established[H3559] before[H6440] me[H6485]; and I will punish all that oppress them[H3905].

21. And their prince[H117] shall be of themselves[H4910], and their ruler shall proceed[H3318] from the midst[H7130] of them[H7126]; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach[H5066] unto me[H6148]: for who is he that hath had boldness[H3820] to approach[H5066] unto me[H5002]? saith Jehovah[H3068].

22. And ye shall be my people[H5971], and I will be your God[H430].

23. Behold[H5591], the tempest of Jehovah[H3068], even his wrath[H2534], is gone forth[H3318], a sweeping[H1641] tempest[H5591]: it shall burst[H2342] upon the head[H7218] of the wicked[H7563].

24. The fierce[H2740] anger[H639] of Jehovah[H3068] shall not return[H7725], until he have executed[H6213], and till he have performed[H6965] the intents[H4209] of his heart[H3820]: in the latter[H319] days[H3117] ye shall understand it[H995].
