ASV_Strong : Isaiah 25
1. O Jehovah[H3068], thou art my God[H430]; I will exalt[H7311] thee[H3034], I will praise thy name[H8034]; for thou hast done[H6213] wonderful[H6382] things[H6098], even counsels of old[H7350], in faithfulness[H530] and truth[H544].
2. For thou hast made[H7760] of a city[H5892] a heap[H1530], of a fortified[H1219] city[H7151] a ruin[H4654], a palace[H759] of strangers[H2114] to be no city[H5892]; it shall never[H5769] be built[H1129].
3. Therefore shall a strong[H5794] people[H5971] glorify[H3513] thee[H7151]; a city of terrible[H6184] nations[H1471] shall fear thee[H3372].
4. For thou hast been a stronghold[H4581] to the poor[H1800], a stronghold[H4581] to the needy[H34] in his distress[H6862], a refuge[H4268] from the storm[H2230], a shade[H6738] from the heat[H2721], when the blast[H7307] of the terrible ones[H6184] is as a storm[H2230] against the wall[H7023].
5. As the heat[H2721] in a dry place[H6724] wilt thou bring down[H3665] the noise[H7588] of strangers[H2114]; as the heat[H2721] by the shade[H6738] of a cloud[H5645], the song[H2159] of the terrible ones[H6184] shall be brought low[H6030].
6. And in this mountain[H2022] will Jehovah[H3068] of hosts[H6635] make[H6213] unto all peoples[H5971] a feast[H4960] of fat things[H8081], a feast[H4960] of wines on the lees[H8105], of fat things[H8081] full of marrow[H4229], of wines on the lees[H8105] well refined[H2212].
7. And he will destroy[H1104] in this mountain[H2022] the face[H6440] of the covering[H3875] that covereth[H3874] all peoples[H5971], and the veil[H4541] that is spread[H5259] over all nations[H1471].
8. He hath swallowed up[H1104] death[H4194] for ever[H5331]; and the Lord[H136] Jehovah[H3069] will wipe away[H4229] tears[H1832] from off all faces[H6440]; and the reproach[H2781] of his people[H5971] will he take away[H5493] from off all the earth[H776]: for Jehovah[H3068] hath spoken it[H1696].
9. And it shall be said[H559] in that day[H3117], Lo[H430], this is our God; we have waited[H6960] for him[H3467], and he will save us[H3068]: this is Jehovah; we have waited[H6960] for him[H1523], we will be glad and rejoice[H8055] in his salvation[H3444].
10. For in this mountain[H2022] will the hand[H3027] of Jehovah[H3068] rest[H5117]; and Moab[H4124] shall be trodden down[H1758] in his place[H4963], even as straw is trodden down[H1758] in the water of the dunghill[H4087].
11. And he shall spread forth[H6566] his hands[H3027] in the midst[H7130] thereof[H7811], as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth[H6566] his hands to swim[H7811]; but Jehovah will lay low[H8213] his pride[H1346] together with the craft[H698] of his hands[H3027].
12. And the high[H4869] fortress[H4013] of thy walls[H2346] hath he brought down[H7817], laid low[H8213], and brought[H5060] to the ground[H776], even to the dust[H6083].
