Sermon Series: Ruth

Ruth

The book of Ruth is a story of loyalty, redemption, and God's providence. Ruth, a Moabite widow, pledges her unwavering loyalty to her Israelite mother-in-law, Naomi. Together, they return to Bethlehem, where Ruth's kindness and hard work catch the attention of Boaz, a wealthy kinsman-redeemer. The story culminates in Boaz redeeming Ruth through marriage, ensuring the continuation of Naomi's family line, which ultimately leads to the birth of King David. Ruth's story reflects God's faithfulness and the idea that redemption is available to all, regardless of background.
