ASV_Strong : Isaiah 15

verses:

1. The burden[H4853] of Moab[H4124]. For in a night[H3915] Ar[H6144] of Moab[H4124] is laid waste[H7703], and brought to nought[H1820]; for in a night[H3915] Kir[H7024] of Moab[H4124] is laid waste[H7703], and brought to nought[H1820].

2. They are gone up[H5927] to Bayith[H1006], and to Dibon[H1769], to the high places[H1116], to weep[H1065]: Moab[H4124] waileth[H3213] over Nebo[H5015], and over Medeba[H4311]; on all their heads[H7218] is baldness[H7144], every beard[H2206] is cut off[H1438].

3. In their streets[H2351] they gird[H2296] themselves with sackcloth[H8242]; on their housetops[H1406], and in their broad[H7339] places[H3213], every one waileth, weeping[H1065] abundantly[H3381].

4. And Heshbon[H2809] crieth[H2199] out[H500], and Elealeh; their voice[H6963] is heard[H8085] even unto Jahaz[H3096]: therefore the armed men[H2502] of Moab[H4124] cry aloud[H7321]; his soul[H5315] trembleth within him[H3415].

5. My heart[H3820] crieth out[H2199] for Moab[H4124]; her nobles[H1280] flee unto Zoar[H6820], to Eglath[H5697] - shelishi-yah[H7992]: for by the ascent[H5927] of Luhith[H3872] with weeping[H1065] they go up[H4608]; for in the way[H1870] of Horonaim[H2773] they raise up[H5927] a cry[H2201] of destruction[H7667].

6. For the waters[H4325] of Nimrim[H5249] shall be desolate[H4923]; for the grass[H1877] is withered away[H3001], the tender grass[H1877] faileth[H3615], there is no green thing[H3418].

7. Therefore the abundance[H3502] they have gotten[H6213], and that which they have laid up[H6486], shall they carry away[H5375] over the brook[H5158] of the willows[H6155].

8. For the cry[H2201] is gone round about[H5362] the borders[H1366] of Moab[H4124]; the wailing[H3215] thereof unto Eglaim[H97], and the wailing[H3215] thereof unto Beer-elim[H879].

9. For the waters[H4325] of Dimon[H1775] are full[H4390] of blood[H1818]; for I will bring[H7896] yet more[H3254] upon Dimon[H1775], a lion[H738] upon them of Moab[H4124] that escape[H6413], and upon the remnant[H7611] of the land[H127].
