Vous êtes vous déjà demandé en quittant fidèlement votre lit douillet chaque dimanche matin si l’Église en valait la peine ?
Pourquoi les chrétiens sont-ils plus nombreux à confesser leur foi qu’à fréquenter l’Eglise ? Dans ce livre qui stimule la réflexion, Yancey décrit sans faux-fuyants la puissance rédemptrice de Dieu exprimée par le biais des êtres humains faillibles qui composent l’Eglise. Il nous rappelle aussi qu’en dépit de ses nombreux manquements, elle reste le Corps de Christ sur cette terre.
